Lisa K. Caruso is highly respected in Prince William County and across the Commonwealth of Virginia as a dedicated and talented criminal defense lawyer. Lisa has been practicing law for in excess of 22 years and has experience working on both sides of the criminal justice system. Prior to joining forces with Casey, she was elected by the citizens of Dinwiddie County to serve for nearly seven years as their Commonwealth’s Attorney. She has also served as the Deputy Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Colonial Heights, Virginia and as an Assistant Public Defender in both Virginia and Kentucky.
Lisa is known to be a strong and vibrant contributor to the Virginia legal community. Her leadership roles include her current position with the Steering Committee of The Virginia Criminal Justice Committee and her past positions as the former Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary of the Criminal Law Section of the Virginia State Bar. She was also appointed to serve on the Felon’s Rights Restoration Advisory Committee by then Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli.
